Temptation of the Mask

An introverted youth (Kiyoshi Usuda) is arrested while trying to set a house ablaze, and the detective assigned to the case (Kazuhiro Sano) takes a special interest in the suspect while getting him to talk. It seems that the young man will only tell his tale once the detective allows him to play Russian roulette with his revolver—and once he does, the scandalous secrets about his family begin to be recounted. As the detective begins lusting after the suspect himself, a tenuous bond forms between them.

The first gay-themed pink film from legendary filmmaker Hisayasu Satô, Temptation of the Mask is a chilling study in erotic obsession.
