The Lustful Turk
1968, dir. Byron Mabe
"Filmed in 1,001 colors!"
English aristocrat Emily Barlow (Abbe Rentz) is en route to India with her handmaiden (Gee Gentell), when pirates seize hold of their ship. Taking the ladies back to their harem, the pirates force them to partake in the most unspeakable of erotic torments—all of which Emily reports to her friend Sylvia (Nancy Crandall) back home in great detail via regular letters. But rather than merely settle into this new world of depravity and barbarism, Emily slowly begins to calculate how she might take her revenge.
Written and produced by exploitation legend David F. Friedman (Blood Feast) and directed by Byron Mabe (She Freak), The Lustful Turk is a raucous costume drama and proof that they don't make 'em like they used to.
